2 - X-Pole

X-Pole asked Trilite to design and install a freestanding structure to hold a dozen dance poles which would be used for training dance instructors to teach pole dancing in gyms. Two heights of poles were required. For the longer poles we had to pitch the roof of the structure to achieve the heigh. The lower poles were attached to the non-pitched horizontals. We were unable to fix to the walls as it was a listed building and we had to find a solution to hold the structure laterally when a dozen people were swinging on poles in sync. We added around the perimeter of the structure at the top of each leg a threaded adjustable foot which screwed out to the walls which without fixing could provide the lateral support we required.
